So... You just picked up one of our HDMI or DVI-HDMI Conversion cables, your wondering what the little screw with a ball-end in the packaging is for, and what's this lever on the end of my HDMI jack?!?!
The answer is simple, If you have any experience with HDMI cables, you have undoubtedly had your cable back out, wiggle loose, or fall completely out of its jacks on a piece of equipment. You most likely felt this was less then optimum.
WE AGREE! And created the locking tab - HDMI-Ball system!
Simply replace the HDMI screw found standard on equipment featuring HDMI with our Ball screw and your HDMI locking tab will snugly fit and lock into your equipment -- never backing out again!

The Ball Screw:

Step 1 Simply remove the HDMI screw from the piece of equipment with a small Philips Screwdriver, leaving you with this:

Step 2 Take a small standard flat head screwdriver, and screw the ball screw into the open threaded hole. This does not require a lot of force, nor does it have to be perfectly tight. The idea is to remove the ability of the HDMI cable pulling out of the jack.

Your Done!

Plug in our HDMI cable, and listen for the “click” as it snaps on the Ball Mount.
