Here's what our Satisified customers have to say about us:
Hey guys, I've just got the cables I've ordered on your website and there's one thing I need to say.. Man those cables rocks!!! Seriously, I bought those cables during the holiday sale and I really think that I will never find any cable as sweet as those for the price... I bought only 3 cables (2 front and 1 center) and now I'm seriously thinking about buying the 2 others (surround) during January... I was really surprised by the quality and the look of those. Thank You Best Deal Cables!

"Jason,
I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with my new Best Deal Cables HDMI cables. I was skeptical about the locking pin concept because I was hesitant about removing any factory screws from my components; however, I bit the bullet and gave it a try. It was so easy! You simply remove the small screw above the component’s HDMI input and screw in the locking ball included with your HDMI cables, and viola! What a terrific idea. Unfortunately the PS3 doesn’t use the standard screw, but my DVR, TV, receiver and HD DVD player do. This new locking system has saved me so much frustration over the past few days as I integrated my new receiver into my home theater. Space is tight where my components are housed and this innovative locking system has kept my HDMI cables firmly secured into place even as I shifted my components around. I only wish Sony had used the standard HDMI screw in their PS3 because my HDMI cable loosens from the PS3’s input whenever I shift it around. Also, the picture and sound on my HD components looks and sounds great! Keep up the quality work! I will definitely return to Best Deal Cables for any future cable needs."

"I am so pleased with the cable product, the price, delivery time, and then the extremely knowledgeable, personable, technical customer service that I received from Jason at Best Deal Cables throughout the process. I purchased the HDMI Digital Audio/Video Cable with the Ball Mount Tab for Locking connectors. The ball mount tab for locking is a brilliant, needed and thoughtful innovation that I think only Best Deal has created and offered. Although I have a Ph.D., I am very low tech and Jason patiently took me through the steps to make the adjustments on my tv to switch from component cable to the HDMI. Some channels don't come in as well as with the component connection. All HD channels are superior and most regular channels are also, like CNN. That is because of the cable box technology not the cable. As more channels become HD this won't matter, and over-all the pros outweigh that one problem for me. I needed a longer and more flexible cable to go through attic and actually gained picture quality in the process. With many retail stores charging double/triple prices for similar product, Best Deal is definitely the way to go and true to its name in all aspects, I really appreciate someone who takes the care that you do. Seems a bit rare these days."

"I recently installed my new power cables. Wow! What a dramatic improvement they made in my system. The most noticeable change was on my amplifier. The low end presence increased significantly. So much so that I wasn't even sure if I like the way it sounded. I moved my Vandersteen 3A Signatures a couple more inches away from the wall and the sound is terrific. Thanks for your help on the phone and for making such a great product."

"Thanks again!! These cables ROCK!! I recommend your cables over anything available!! Take Care."

"I just wanted you to know that I received the bi-wire speaker cables last week after you helped me out in the proper selection, and I have to say that I'm very impressed with them. They sound pretty good to me right out of the box. I assume that there will be some break-in time, and I really haven't had my system on for extended periods recently, so that's possibly a benefit to look for. Thanks again for your help; the cables came in exactly the configuration that I needed."

"I just received the two 1 meter component cables that I ordered last week and am very pleased with them. It made a very visible difference in the HD picture from my cable box. In fact, I'm so pleased that I want to replace the only other component cable that I have as well...I would have ordered this one then, but I did want to try them first before I spent that much money on new cables to replace what I thought were perfectly good ones. :)"

"Great supplies, great service, and a great deal. I really appreciate the way you all run a business, and I will recommend you to anyone who likes my home theatre."

"I have to say I have been very impressed with the cables purchased. To date I have purchased speaker cables for the fronts and center, a few tos links and just ordered a couple of the power cables. My initial purchase consisted of cables for the fronts and a couple of tos links. The BDCs were replacing Monster 1.2s. Typically I listen to some Steely Dan, blue man Group, Godsmack, Eagles Hell freezes over, Diana Krall, Norah Jones and Metallica S&M. Ok and some Carpenters and Barry Manilow. A pretty good spread of music. The Monster cable has been in my system since my first Klipsch purchase, about 3 years ago. With BDCs on the fronts and Monster still on the center there seemed to be an imbalance across the front. I verified connections, settings and the receiver settings. The imbalance shifted when the BDCs and Monster was swapped between the front and center. With the addition of BDC cable for the center, I am extremely pleased with how my system is now sounding. The sound stage across the front is now balanced, wider and clearer. The Klipsch sound more alive. Thank you BDC."

"Cables are of excellent build quality and performance. (Sub-woofer and s-video) Also, THE best customer service I've experienced in a long time. Literally had an email response from Jason to a question in less than 5 minutes--AND the cables arrived very quickly. Give these cables a try!"

"Just to add my experience to the long list of satisfied customers, I recieved my component cable on Friday, and was very impressed with the build quality. The overwrap is not just the generic black tecflex, but an attractive color. The most important thing though, is the improvement I noticed versus my old cables (lamp cord). Great product and a great company. Way to go..."

"I am very impressed with your service, you guys rock. If your cables are as just as good as your service then I am going to get the best cables especially for the superb price. Best Regards,"
Konrad
"Just received my cables. I ordered the Toslink, component and speaker cables.
The build is impressive. To me Toslink cables are often under built but the BDC is amazing. I am very pleased with your product."
Scott
"Got my cables today. 1 HDMI to HDMI and 1 DVI to HDMI. Wow, I was surprised by the build quality. These are some thick cables. Hooked them up and everything works fine. I love the locking tabs - very creative. I'm using the screws included to hold the clips. I'm probably going to buy two more cables. Can't beat them for the price."
Joe
"I received my 8 meter HDMI cable yesterday and installed it. The cable works perfectly and build quality is excellent."
Ralph
"...ordered a few cables recently from them. A 6ft. Component and a Subwoofer cable. Very good customer service. Promptly answered emails. Cables have well made feel to them. I haven't tried the component level cable yet but the sub cable is an improvement over the thin, stock cable that came with my old sub."

"I just replaced my entire setup in my home theater with cables from these guys. If build quality, performance, durability, and looks are important to you, look no further. They`re the Ducati of cables, without all of the messy personal injury insurance and angry wife. Let`s face it, a Go-ped will get you from A to B, but there`s something visceral about the scream of the Borgo Panigale that gets the blood pumping. Best Deal Cables builds with top materials and attention to detail, benefiting from years of experience from some of the most experienced A/V experts in the industry. Sure, lamp cord can fulfill the need, but this satisfies the want."

"Hey all!
Well usually I am doing “to-the-point” projector reviews. I decided to sway a bit from the norm and look into some new cables. Generally the consensus is that the “higher-end”, expensive cables offer little return for the investment. So there has been a large coming of newer, more bang-for-the-buck cable manufacturers. That brings me to www.bestdealcables.com. A relatively new company, but one started by people who have been in the business for a long time, so they know what they are doing. I was able to obtain some of their cables, ranging from simple composite and analog audio, up to longer length HDMI and component cables.
I received my cables well packed and in a timely fashion. The first thing I noticed was the simple packing of each cable. They are put into a sealed bag and not the annoying “bubble pack” that many are done in. This not only makes opening a lot easier, but it yields less waste and cuts down on the cost of production, which directly benefits the customer. The analog cables and digital audio cables are of extremely high build quality. They have a mesh around them that gives them the higher end look, and the connections are of high quality. Even the toslink cable has the same mesh which makes them match up well. The standard cables have gold tipped connections, and have a ribbed grip on them which makes handling easier than others I have tried. I also noticed that the RCA connected very securely to the equipment, but not overly tight (which can potentially damage the receiving connection). I have had damage happen with some other cables I have used and it is quite frustrating.
The HDMI cables look a bit different than any you have likely seen. The biggest complaint I have with HDMI connectors, and I’m sure many of you have as well, is that they don’t provide a very secure locking connection on the equipment. To make it worse, often the better quality HDMI cables have a thick wire to accommodate the higher demand that today’s HDTV signals need. This just makes that already weak connection more difficult to get to hold tight. BestDealCables.com has come up with a solution….the locking connector. It is a simple, yet efficient idea. Basically there is a little locking (with release) latch on the top of the cable. It then comes with little “ball screws” that you attach to your equipment. They can either be screwed into the equipment, or even super-glued on, which provides enough stability for the connection to work. Yes it does take a bit of patience and time on your end, but the end result is piece of mind that your connections are as solid as can be.
The performance of these cables is also excellent. I have used many in my years of doing this, and though there are cables costing lots more, they offer little improvement if any, over these cables. There digital cables are also capable of full 1080p transfer with no issues…a key point as that is where we are heading eventually. All cables, including the digital video, have silver plated connections to ensure the best signal transfer. This is not usually common with the HDMI/DVI connections on most manufacturers. I replaced my whole system with these to get a full feel for their performance. I found that the performance was comparable to other higher end cables and that was no surprise. The key with these, are that the look like they cost a ton, but cost very little compared to most. All in all, if you are looking to put in a system and need cabling, or you would like to upgrade your existing cables, you should definitely check out www.bestdealcables.com. You will not be disappointed."

They are not the fanciest cables on the market and they certainly are not the cheapest cables either. What www.BestDealCables.Com has done is come up with a line of cables that are very well thought out, that blend performance and value, and they even sprinkle a little style and good looks on the top as icing on the cake. There are no claims of the “Kings New Cloths” either with these guys. These cables were designed by people that have worked in the electronics business and know what people want and need from a cable. They don’t make any claims, like some, that you will hear and see things because of their cables that you never knew were within your source material. What you will get is an assurance the quality and build of these cables will not introduce cable related artifacts that poor quality materials and inferior built cables can introduce.
In fact one of the Founders of the company, Jason Kuenkler, has been an Editor right here on www.HomeTheaterSpot.Com for over 5 years. He is a guy that has an outstanding reputation with our members and is known for straight talk and a common sense approach, which has helped more than a few members; put together their home theaters without breaking their budget. So it is no surprise that Jason would be behind a new company that is striving to offer the “Best Deal” on a cable that you will be able to find anywhere out there.
Well what makes these the "Best Deal"? Lets run down a list of the cables I have looked over and find out.
First off, ordering and shipping were very efficient. In-stock cables went out that day. Custom length cables went out within 48 hours business hours. They came nicely packaged in individually heat sealed bags. They were clearly labeled and it was easy to see what was in each bag, so no guessing what cables were which.
I can tell you right now. Before I even hooked any of the cables up, the first thing that jumps out at you is these are some very nice looking cables. They are very stylish and will blend in with a variety of decors. The best I can describe the outer vinyl casing is that it Antique Bronze with a Black Mesh that has Gold thread accents. Not only does this make the cable look very rich and elegant but it provides a very practical purpose and that is it makes these cables one tough customer and protects the vital conductors from any damage, such as twisting, abrasions or cuts from sharp objects. This is the case on all their cables except their HDMI and DVI cable which is not possible to have this distinctive outer construction because of the manufacturing process. However that doesn’t mean the HDMI and DVI outer jacket is any less durable. It is extra thick and plenty strong enough to hold up to any abuse.
Now a hard look at each of the cables themselves:
Toslink
The Toslink cable is very well put together. Again with the same great styling of the outer jacket mesh which is sure to become a trademark of this cable. Most companies neglect any protection of the outer jacket of their Toslink cable, leaving them vulnerable to external damage and twisting. This ads a nice hefty feel to the cable and will blend in nice with the other cables from Best Deal Cables. The Metal Connector is substantial, easy to handle with 24k gold accents and with its ergonomic design, it is easy to install. These cables are made with a high quality synthetic polymer conductor. First class all the way.
Coaxial Digital Cables
Again this cable is very stylish with nice construction, as I have said with their other cables. I examined and took apart the conductors. Everything was clean and the solders were nicely done and secure. They also have an outer crimp that secures the connector to the outer jacket for extra security and strength. Some lower quality connectors omit this and rely solely on the solder connections to secure the cable to the connector. This extra step guards against damage as a result of the cable being pulled or not using the barrel of the connector to remove the cable.
Best Deal Cables uses a 75ohm shielded 23awg OFC Copper Conductor with Silver Plating for their Digital Coax. I am very fond of this type of cable construction for conductors. Blending the use of Copper with a Sliver Plate makes for the most optimal signal transport. Many cables simply do not have the addition of silver into the mix and if they do, they are substantially more expensive than what Best Deal Cables offers their cables for.
Analog Audio Interconnects RCA-RCA
The backbone of these cables is their shielded 25awg OFC copper conductors with 24k heavy duty connectors. Again I examined the connectors and the solders and all was in keeping with the high quality construction that is very consistent. One side note, their audio interconnects as well as unbalanced audio are not Silver Plated.
Again this cables has all the quality features of construction and build that their other cables have.
Speakers Cables
Audiophiles are going to love these! These are some nice hefty speaker cables!
These are 13awg OFC Copper with Silver Plated conductors. They are in a twisted pair configuration alongside a PE dielectric to provide structure and extra shielding. Here is also where the looks are as important as construction. One thing my wife hates is speakers and wires. Unfortunately they do show up. When I showed these cables to her she definitely liked the color and style of these cables I think others will find the WAF aspect (Wife Acceptance Factor) equally pleasing. This is also where the hefty outer construction, while very stylish, is also very important. Speaker wires are the most vulnerable to getting stepped on, eaten by the vacuum cleaner or molested by curious pets and children. These are tough cables cabable of standing up to that kind of punishment and protecting them from damage. (Did I say they look good too?)
They also left enough at each end uncovered so it makes it easy to install the connectors in tight situations. These are pliable but durable conductors and easy to maneuver. The banana connectors I was shipped are again, nice heavy constructions with 24k Gold Plating for optimal signal transmission.
Component Video Cables
Construction includes 75 ohm, shielded, 22awg OFC Copper with Silver Plating that make up the 3 color coordinated connectors of this component cable. Metal Barrel connectors are Heavy Duty RCA with 24K Gold Plating. This cable is more than capable of handling a signal rating up to 1080i for HD.
OK this is a very well rounded and respectable component cable, especially for the price. It comes with the same quality standard of cable construction and assembly as all of their other cables. They left off plenty of the outer jacket to make connecting the conductors easy. The conductors are surrounded by a durable cover but yet still remain pliable so installation in tight spaces in not going to be an issue. They are also not down converted 5 conductor RGBHV cables that some companies use to make their 3 conductor component cables. The problem with that type of construction is that it adds un-needed weight to the cables if you have 5 conductors but only using 3 of them and the other 2 have just been cut off and not being used but still remain within the cable core. This can be a significant amount of added weight, especially in a thick conductor cable. This can cause un-necessary stress on your Video Components. It also increases the cost of the cable because you are paying for the extra conductors that are not being used. Best Deal Cables uses a 3 conductor construction for their 3 conductor component cables. No added weight or extra cost for something you are not using. This allows them to bring you this cable with value at a low cost.
DVI Cable and HDMI cables
These are made up of 24awg OFC Copper Silver Plated Conductors. Connectors are 24K Gold for the optimal signal transfer. This cable is rated to handle 1080p with ease in cable lengths up to 16 meters. These cables do not come with the signature braded Black and Gold mesh.
Now here are a couple of things that make these cables special in addition to their Silver Plated OFC Copper construction. First off both the DVI and HDMI cables are 24awg, even in the 1 meter lengths. Most companies smaller run cables are 28awg and don’t upgrade the gage of their conductors until you start getting in to longer runs. So from short runs to long runs up to 16m, there is nothing to worry about as far as signal loss.
Now for something that no other cable company offers; BestDealCables has a locking connector on their HDMI Cable. The most common complaint of HDMI is the fact the connections are vulnerable to the cables actually falling out or loosing a snug connection, which then can add to signal loss or signal degradation. BestDealCables has come up with a unique locking device on their HDMI connections to make it secure and to eliminate this problem. No other Cables Company has this kind of innovative design built into their HDMI cables. This makes the HDMI cable from BestDealCable HDMI unique and one of a kind. This is a cable you simply can NOT buy anywhere else.
I hope this gives you a sampling of the quality of the cables that come from www.BestDealCables.Com. It looks like they have strived to offer a cables with all the requirements needed for a good quality cable but still be able to offer them at outstanding prices. I have seen a lot of cables in my time. Some are cheap and that is reflected not only in the materials used but the shoddy construction as well. Some cables come at monster prices but fail to live up to the quality of construction and materials used in the cables by BestDealCables.. There are other companies that make cables that have more features added, additional shielding and use more costly materials to meet the requirements of even more demanding customers and are still able to offer value but those extra features are reflected in the higher price of that cable. BestDealCables.Com offers a cable that is quality made, meets all the requirements for shielding, conductor gauge, quality construction and durability, as well as throwing some “Silver” into the mix, to come up with a well styled cable at an excellent price.
